Played over 7 days between the AGM/Prize Giving and the Drive In over 80 players took up the challenge to play in this new event and kick start our fundraising. With a contribution from the seniors we achieved the £1000 target.
It all came down to countback with 2 players shooting 39
Runner up winning a lovely bottle of wine was Malcolm Palmer.
The winner, winning the new trophy and a bottle of champagne was Valerie Haley.
Last week Valerie with her husband lost on countback to Paul and Debby Webb in the Valentines trophy, so perhaps only fitting she should win this event
