Winter Hill GC brings Charity support directly to the community with the Brett Foundation

I am pleased to announce that Winter Hill Golf Club, part of the Get Golfing CIO group, has extended its support for local charity partner The Brett Foundation by taking its services directly to the people who need them most.
While Winter Hill Golf Club has supported the Brett Foundation for nearly two years with free storage space and other initiatives, many of the individuals the charity helps are unable to travel to the club to take part in its activities. To bridge this gap, the club has decided to bring its hospitality to the heart of the community.
Throughout October, the Winter Hill Golf Club team has prepared, cooked, and served a specially designed two-course hot meal every Thursday evening for those supported by The Brett Foundation.
Lauren Webb, CEO of The Brett Foundation stated :We would like to thank Winter Hill Golf Club for their generous support. Their commitment to providing hot meals throughout October is fantastic. Our homeless community was very excited about the initiative and extremely grateful for this support. We are extremely thankful for everything the club is doing to support us.
Emma Robinson, Director of Charities and Communities at Get Golfing CIO, said ;As a group, we are passionate about using our skills and resources to give something back to the community. Partnering with The Brett Foundation in this way means we can offer not just food, but warmth, dignity, and a sense of togetherness to those who need it most.
James Lilletou, General Manager at Winter Hill Golf Club, added Being part of this initiative has been fantastic. Speaking to the attendees directly has
brought home how life can change so quickly for people. I am proud to have been a part of this.
The Brett Foundation works tirelessly to support vulnerable individuals and families across the region, providing food, shelter, and essential assistance. This new initiative underscores Winter Hill Golf Club’s commitment not only to the sport but also to the wider community.
