The competition is now open on Golf Genius for Men’s Captains Day and it seems we are having a few problems with Golf Genius as it is taking your money and not allowing you to book a time.
Malcolm is on the case so hopefully resolved soon.
You can find the competition under men’s fixtures and I note we already have over 40 people signed up since going live at 8am
First tee is at 8am and entrance fee is £25 which includes the normal rolling BBQ.
Teams of 4 to play a Waltz 2-3-4 as well as a stableford competition. There will be nearest the pin on all par 3s.
Black tees and 95% of handicap.
There will be a green fee cost for 5 day members
In addition there will be an optional putting and chipping contest as well as a cash prize raffle.
Would all players please report to the Captain in the bar before playing in order to get their BBQ token and to pay for the optional items if they so wish. Each is £5; however for the cash raffle you can have 3 raffle strips for £10. Please bring cash with you.
The winner of the cash raffle will get 25% of the takings.
So if we raise £400 the winner will get £100
The team waltz winners will receive a 4 ball voucher.
All cash received will go to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice
