After the way leg at Harewood Downs the men’s team were 4.5 v 1.5 down.
And so it came to the return leg. With the Captain not available and the Vice Captain not able to play at the last moment the baton was passed to Paul Webb to Captain. Thanks to Paul and also Russell Taylor for stepping in at the last moment to complete the 12 players.

Ben Clift and Janak Mistry the second 3/2
Rob Shore and Graham Cook won the third 6/5
Another later stand in Malcolm Palmer with Arthur O’Haggan won the fourth 7/6
Match 5 was won by Mitch Holyoake and Colin Clarke 5/4
and to complete the win and the overall win from the two legs
George Mead and Nic Yellowlees halved their match.
