Directive from England Golf: Handicaps and Scorecards
Scorecards must be returned every time you play with a few exceptions as noted below.
These are ;
Match Play
Team competitions ie texas scramble,greensomes, Australian rules,4 ball alliance, waltz, 3 clubs and a putter
Casual golf where gimme’s are taken
Playing as an individual
The reason for the changes are England Golf is seeing people only returning cards when it suits them ie when they play a good round or the opposite in order to get an increase in handicap
Winter Hill will comply with England Golf and cards will be monitored
This instruction will be added to local rules
